Abstract

The curriculum plays a strategic role in achieving educational goals, both general and religious education. In contrast, the objectives of the curriculum are formulated based on the development of society's demands, needs, and conditions. The focus of this research is to find out the Semesta curriculum development model at Trensains.  The research method in this paper is included as qualitative research. Where the data in this study were collected in natural conditions (natural setting). The data collection process was carried out by collecting data related to the research focus from the research location using interview and observation methods. SMA Trensains Tebuireng uses the National Curriculum (administratively), but practically in the field, SMA Trensains Tebuireng applies Semesta Curriculum. Semesta Curriculum is a curriculum that was developed by the SMA Trensains curriculum development team with the initiators of Trensains and the FMIPA UNESA curriculum development team.SMA Trensains Tebuireng implements the Semesta curriculum combining nation national, and pesantren sains wisdom curricula. This curriculum is designed to strengthen student competence, especially to realize educational goals and the school's vision and mission. Semesta curriculum uses a curriculum development The Grass Roots Model as a complement to the existing curriculum
